Check-ups, vaccinations and treatment

Routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite treatment and follow-up for dogs, cats and some other species.

From Consultation from 15 JD About 30 minutes
Most visits here are ordinary: a vaccination due, a limp that has not gone away, a cat that has stopped eating. Bring the animal in and we will look at it properly. What we do at a first visit is straightforward. We take a history from you, examine the animal, and tell you what we think is going on. If we need tests to be sure, we say so and explain what each one is for. If the case is beyond what we can handle here, we say that too and help you find somewhere that can. Bring any previous records you have, including vaccination cards and anything you were given elsewhere. It saves repeating work and it sometimes changes the answer.

What is included

  • Routine and booster vaccinations
  • Parasite prevention and treatment
  • We tell you what a test is for before we run it
  • Written record you can take anywhere

Common questions

What should I bring?
Any previous records, the vaccination card if you have one, and a list of anything the animal is currently taking. If it is a diet or behaviour problem, a short note of what changed and when helps more than you would think.
Do I need an appointment?
For a check-up or a vaccination, yes. It saves you waiting. An urgent case does not need one, but call while you are on the way so we are ready.
How much will it cost?
The consultation is a fixed price. Anything beyond it depends on what the animal needs, and we tell you the cost before we do it, not after.
