Official Veterinarians are able to issue Animal Health Certificates enabling you to travel with your pet. There are a number of requirements that must be met before travel, so we recommend getting in touch with us as early as possible if you might need your pet to travel abroad.
"As early as possible" is the whole service. Several of the requirements are not things that can be done quickly: a microchip has to be in place before certain vaccinations count, some vaccinations only take effect after a waiting period, and some destinations want a blood test with its own turnaround. Miss the order and the clock starts again.
Tell us the destination country and the travel date at the first conversation, because the requirements are set by where you are going and not by us.

Common questions
How early should I get in touch?
Months rather than weeks, if you can. Some destinations need a blood test taken a set time after a vaccination, and that alone can run to several months.
Do you handle the airline paperwork too?
The health certificate is the veterinary part and it is what we issue. Crate rules, booking the animal onto the flight and anything the airline wants beyond the certificate are between you and the carrier.
